CSUK'S DIGITAL CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN
Cancer Support UK’s donor database was dwindling, and lacked an established recruitment programme to replenish lapsing donors. We developed a new Digital strategy – and Cuddles for Christmas was born. Our campaign combined old school fundraising with digital technique. Compelling asks to fund a teddy for a child with cancer provided a tangible reason to donate across Facebook ads, email, organic social, direct mail. The campaign ran at Christmas 2020 and again at Easter 2021. It raised £45,011 against a target of £7,452 – with an ROI of 1.62 on cold donor recruitment. Cuddles is now an established twice yearly recruitment campaign which we continue to deliver for CSUK.
SAVING DONKEYS WITH A STRATEGY
Safe Haven for Donkey's income was dwindling. We came on board to develop and deliver an emergency appeal in July 2019 to rescue the charity. The campaign flew - raising significant money from their donor database. Safe Haven asked Inspired Fundraising to then develop a new three-year IG strategy - introducing new appeals and activities to recruit new donors. Income has continued to build year on year and the donor base has now more than doubled in size. New products and appeals are in the pipeline to fund their work in Israel and Palestine. This will include integrated campaigns to raise capital funds to develop a new Sanctuary, and an appeal to extend their services helping working donkeys in the West Bank.
MAKING GIVING WORK YEAR-ROUND
The Clock Tower Sanctuary provide services to homeless young people in Brighton and Hove. Inspired recommended a new and improved 2021 Christmas fundraising campaign - raising over twice as much from individuals compared to 2020 - and bringing on board a significant volume of new donors. We also recommended how to make a traditionally 'Christmas' cause work year-round - with our recent Easter appeal in 2022 exceeding budget by 50%. We look forward to continuing to work with CTS in the year ahead.
RAISING MONEY FOR THE ELDERLY
Vintage Vibes approached Inspired to ask for help with their Christmas campaign - they hadn't ever raised money from it. We introduced a new giving strategy, helping them to raise over £4,000 in just a few weeks. Following our stewardship recommendations they have also launched an Easter appeal to help raise money to prevent loneliness amongst elderly people in Edinburgh. The future is looking very bright for this local charity.
